ITAG Tiefbohr GmbH established high standards regarding health, safety and environmental protection. These standards are stipulated in the QM- and HSE policy statement, the Quality- and Safety-Management-System and internal regulations.

Internal and external audits, HSE inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations and briefings are documented with the findings and measures obtained. The reports are forwarded for information and realization to the personnel concerned, i.e. drilling managers and supervisors. The continuous improvement of the safety statistics reflects these high safety standards.

The safety management system complies with the requirements of SCC:2006 and is certified by Det Norske Veritas Certification Company (DNV).
